Day 4-B: Hurricane Ridge and Dosewallops State Park

Hurricane Ridge is the point from which you can see Mount Olympus and several of the other taller peaks in the park.  It was a little cloudy since it was late in the afternoon but we still saw some great views. 

Cute doe and Bambi we saw on the way back down Hurricane Ridge. 

Our next destination was Mount St. Helen's so we drove south out of the park to get as far as we could.  It was getting late and we ended up stopping at Dosewallops State Park hoping to find a campsite since it has a really large campground. We got there minutes before the office closed and literally got the LAST tent campsite in the park. It was not a great site but we were just happy to have a spot.
